No fewer than four persons were feared dead on Sunday following a bloody clash between suspected Fulani herdsmen and indigenes of Bungel, Moro’a chiefdom in Kaura Local Government of Kaduna State.
Moro Chiefdom is in the southern part of Kaduna.
It was gathered that the clash left scores of people injured with machete cuts. The cause of the clash was not immediately known as of the time of filing this report.
Trouble, it was learnt, started when some strange faces with unusual behaviour, surfaced in the Sabon-Gari Moro’a area, a development that was said to have triggered suspicion and later snowballed into a fracas.
Chairman of the local government, Mr. Kumai Badu, who confirmed the incident, told reporters that there was a clash between the herdsmen and the natives, which led to the death of four persons.
